On 30 September, the SCI governance group held a workshop that brought together 22 national representatives of the food chain (farmers, industry and retail), from eight countries: five from SCI-inspired dialogue platforms (Belgium, Czech Republic and Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands) and, three with regulatory schemes (France, Italy, Spain).


The SCI Annual Compliance survey will be open from 1st September to 16 October 2016.

The SCI Annual Event took place on 27 January 2016 on the occasion of the publication of the 2nd Annual Report. It gathered around 100 participants representing registered companies, national and European associations and EU officials, mainly from the European Commission and the Parliament.


This annual report provides an overview of progress and achievements in the Supply Chain Initiative since its launch in September 2013. The report highlights progress in company registration and actions undertaken by the Governance Group in providing assistance to companies and national associations and raising awareness. It also presents the results of the second annual survey of registered companies, the actions undertaken and implementation under the SCI, including progress on achieving a critical mass.
